Chemical Peels

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is an in-office procedure during which an acid solution is applied to the surface of the face. The solution is left on for a few minutes, after which time it is removed or neutralized. Most people experience some mild tingling during a chemical peel, which usually takes only a few minutes to complete.
Following a chemical peel, the skin may ‘flake off’ for a couple of days before revealing newer, healthier looking skin beneath the surface.
Chemical peels are useful for improving the appearance of the skin and conditions like hyperpigmentation, fine lines, sun damage, acne scars and age spots.

Did you know…

that the skin begins to lose its glow over time? This is because the skin’s natural shedding of dead cells slows with age, causing it to appear dull and lackluster. Though new, healthy skin exists below the surface, it is often masked by an old and uneven external layer of skin. Dermaplaning and chemical peel combination treatments help reveal healthy, glowing skin and restore a youthful appearance.

Formulated with an exclusive blend of clinical-grade acids and a maximized peel concentration of phenylethyl resorcinol, Advanced Corrective Peel dramatically diminishes the appearance of discoloration, while smoothing texture and refining the appearance of pores, to restore a brighter, more clarified skin tone. For optimal results, a series of 4 treatments every 4 weeks is recommended. Featuring an exclusive blend of skin brightening exfoliating ingredients, Advanced Corrective Peel diminishes the appearance of discoloration, while smoothing texture and refining the appearance of pores, to restore a brighter, more clarified tone to skin. This new Skinceuticals peel is the deepest and most advanced peel Skinceuticals has produced to date. This peel works in the lowest layer of the epidermis, the basal layer, where live tissue and pigment dwell. It is considered a deep, superficial chemical peel. This peel contains 14% salicylic acid, 14% lactic acid, and 10% phenylethyl resorcinol. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow bark and exfoliates, unclogs pores, and regulates oil production.

    Micro Peel

A MicroPeel is a marriage of microdermabrasion and a chemical peel. This combination will soften your skin, brighten your complexion, minimize pore size & reduce discoloration.

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive process that offers safe and controlled skin abrasion. This procedure utilizes micro crystals of a high medical grade, which are propelled at a high volume and velocity across the skin surface to abrade the skin.

Combined with a chemical peel, which will be chosen by your Aesthetician as to which one best fits your skin, you will reveal a new fresh face!
